Uptown Reinvestment Corporation

Working Toward a Stronger more Economically Viable Downtown Flint.

Background Information*

The Uptown Reinvestment Corporation (URC) was formed to strategically target areas in downtown Flint to redevelop.  URCs focus and vision is to acquire vacant and inactive buildings and redevelop them into mixed-use buildings.  The upper floors of these buildings will be converted into "Loft-Style" housing units and the street level spaces will be rehabilitated and made available to potential retail service, entertainment and office type uses.
