Positives in the City of Flint

Although these points are not specifically related to the Grand Traverse Neighborhood District they are important for supporting the commercial areas in and around the district.  Flint has an electric power grid that is sufficient to service the community.  It has not been saturated, and the power grid has not been subjected to "brown-outs".  Areas south of Flint are starting to reach the saturation point, and may experience "brown-outs" and other interruptions of that nature.  With this in mind, Flint has the potential to attract business because of its strong power grid.  It would be beneficial for the city to maintain the present condition of the power grid to ensure that a dependable source of electricity remains in the city.
